  • Returning to Atkins

Hi, I'm new here and glad to have found this message board. I'm returning to Atkins for the second time and am currently eating at induction level. And re-reading DANDR - so much I seem to have forgotten!

      Re: Returning to Atkins

hello, I'm returning to atkins as well. 4 1/2 years ago I lost 80 lbs doing atkins and got pregnant with my daughter a short time later. I've let the weight come back and I've read the book and ready to commit myself to the lifestyle again. The first 3 days are always the hardest for me, after that its a breeze.

Cream, heavy or light (limit to two to three tablespoons a day; note carb content)
        Decaffeinated coffee or tea*
Diet soda made with sucralose (Splenda); be sure to count the carbs (may cause a stall in weight loss)
Essence-flavored seltzer (must say "no calories" and should not contain aspartame)
Herb tea (without barley or any fruit sugar added)

Welcome to the board, Mayoi and Ashley!

Since you've both done Atkins before, you should check out the Second Time Around Club, STAC, forum. The daily roll call helps to start you off in the right direction each morning.

Good luck to both of you!
