    Hi everyone,

    My name is Julia and I live in Texas. I did the Atkins in 2005 and went from 275 down to 194. Meanwhile falling off the wagon........ I must say I gained the weight back slowly but are now back at 263. Ouch.
    I attempted to start back up several times before but let myself get sidetracked easliy. I just wasnt with it 100%.
    So finally on 2 May I got my priorities straight and are now back on Induction and keeping a food log. I dont know, but it works good for me having to write down everything I eat.

    I'm looking forward to many cheerful conversations with all of you.

    Welcome to ADBB Julia. Congratulations on having started again. I also started to write things down and post them here on the board. I think it works. I read that journalling is a great tool when dieting. Hope to read more of your posts.

      Welcome aboard!
      What I do:
      Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
      At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
      2 filtered containers water/day
      Daily salads/veggies


      Goals:

      Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
      Workout in a XXXL shirt
      - DONE!
      Workout in a XXL shirt
      Workout in a XL shirt
      270 on the scales

        You did it once and you can do it again, so good luck to you!

          welcome to adbb julia, im a second time arounder too so i know how you are feeling. its hard getting your head into it completely but once you do its so easy. good luck with your diet and keep posting.
