  • Im Back!!

    I did the diet a few months ago but I was dedicated so this time Im in it full force and cheating isnt an option but Ive been on it for two weeks and i keep gaining and loosing the same 3 pds. I dont know what Im doing wrong if any one could help me out Id appreciate it, I dont have the book but as soon as I have a few extra $$ I will get it.

    So this is what I am eating:
    Breakfast egg and some meat ham, sausage or bacon
    Lunch: tuna, salad
    Dinner: meat and a salad
    snack jello sugar free

    WATER WATER WATER WATER

    Are you exercising? Does the sugar free jello contain aspartame?
    What I do:
    Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
    At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
    2 filtered containers water/day
    Daily salads/veggies


    Goals:

    Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
    Workout in a XXXL shirt
    - DONE!
    Workout in a XXL shirt
    Workout in a XL shirt
    270 on the scales

      yes i excesice 3-4x week, doing the jillian michaels 30 day shred. im not sure about the about the jello i will have to check it out. but dont you think i should still be loosing

        Welcome back Kellu!

        You definitely need to read the Book because I don't see ANY veggies in your menu! Veggies are key to this way of eating! And you are eating a lot of salty foods which are probably making you retain water.

        Read the Atkins Phases forum for help on what and how much you should be eating and good luck to you!

          Don't give up! Just be sure you are following the rules of Induction, you will see results. I agree with blueberrylady that you need to add some veggies in there! Like your mom says, "They're good for you!"

            So I have been adding more veggies and stop eating the jello but this morning I weighed in and I gained a pound. I am soooo frustrated, do you think that maybe this diet doesnt work for everyone. I know so many people who have lost so much weight on this but I cant loose anything.
