  • Hi my name is Tom and I'm a carboholic

Hello all...I am new to Atkins, but desperately need it to lose a good amount of weight...about 80 pounds. I am tired of being tired! I cook too well and like to eat it to, and didn't really realize how many carbs I really ate until I started counting. At first it felt like a food prison, but I am learning to adjust and create. I plan on doing an extended induction. Nice to have the support here. Started 5/12 @ 296 and aiming @ 220 or 210....we'll see when we get there.

    Welcome to the board, Tom!

Being a good cook will help you on this way of eating because there are so many great things to make. Be sure to check out the Food and Recipe forum because I think you will be pleased with the things you find there.

    Good luck to you!

You'll get there. Keep counting those carbs. There are plenty of things to cook and eat still. Just have to readjust the mindset somewhat. Welcome to ADBB.
