Re: hi everyone from smyrna, ga.
Thanks "yawl"! I've already received alot of good advice here from other peoples post. I'm about 5'7" and and almost half way to my goal weight. The loss has slowed down to a crawl but I'm not giving up no matter how long it takes.m/42 5'7"
No mini goals, just want to finish the race one pound at a time

Re: hi everyone from smyrna, ga.
hi deer -- are you still on induction? If your weight loss has slowed and you are half way to your goal it's time to move on to OWL -- add 5 additional net carbs of veggies to your daily eating...believe it or not, this WILL help get your weight loss going again. Besides, you have to move up the rungs to find your perfect carb number by the time you are ready to go into maintenance. To keep the weight off you need to know that number so you don't fall back into your old traps....you are doing so well I'd hate to see you back in a year or so with more weight to loose than you had to begin with this time!! Think about it.
Also, make sure you are drinking enough water (64 ounces minimum) daily -- ice is he only thing added to that water if you count it --- if you drink anything else it doesn't count. What type of exercise are you doing? This all contributes to weight loss!!
Good luck on your continuing weight loss!!Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: hi everyone from smyrna, ga.
Hi Deerfu. You have had great success so far and have the right attitude about the slowing of your losses. As you work through the rungs you find out what triggers you and how to add things to get you ready for your long term success. All that takes time so the slower loss will give you that time as you go. Glad you have found ADBB to be a help to you. I feel exactly the same way!

Re: hi everyone from smyrna, ga.
Thanks again everyone for helping me and others on this board stay on track with encouragement and good advice when "we" get out of line. If it hadn't been for ya'll I might have went another direction when my loss stalled.
Miss Lacy- you are so right it is a wonderful thing and I'm a blessed man.
Miss Carol- I'm not on induction anymore but I think I tried moving up a little too fast for me so I'm trying to tweak things now, have gotten rid of diet drinks and I'm getting plenty of exercise. One of the things I was doing wrong was not getting enough fat but I'm drinkig well over 100 oz. of water per day with no additives. Hopefully I will be here a year from now helping others with the knowledge I've gained. Thanks again
miss jill- Thank you mam and you're right I've alredy found a few triggers and also a few craving killers. I'm gonna keep on learning from ya'll so keep posting.
