Hi All! So glad to be here! I joined up last March and ended up feeling terrible in the beginning...possible induction flu...so I gave up. But I gave it another whirl starting about 3 weeks ago and I am doing well this time. I lost 8 pounds the first 10 days or so and then stayed the same untill today...down 1 more pound! I have had a couple cheats and that is likely why the weight loss stalled but I am so on track now!! My big thing is I have to remember to eat! I am not very hungry on Atkins(bonus!) so hours can go by I am realize I did not eat!!
I am also a type 2 diabetic and since starting again I have sugars of 5 to 7 wonderful...rather than 15 to 25. Believe it or not I have went off my meds as well...do not need them!
I am sure that if I started to eat my "Old way" I would need them but I feel wonderful eating like this!!!!
