hi i'm franco, i decided after a reasonably serious knee injury, it was time for me to look at weight loss to remove stress off my joints and to help me move a little faster during training. tomorrow is day 14 of induction for me, i've lost 7kg (ish) and i'll probably stick to induction for a little longer before going forward. It hasn't been too bad, even though on day 1 all the junk food i used to eat was suddenly on sale. the strangest thing was walking into one of those housewares gift stores with all those scented candles and so forth and the smells just made me crave lollies. lasted until i walked out. odd

Re: first attempt
Welcome to the board, Franco!
Losing weight will definitely help with joint problems. I used to have a lot of knee pain but not anymore. Now I can go hiking with dh and be totally pain free. I wish the same for you!
