I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to join in!
I'm Karen. I am a 38 year old SAHM of 2. I have been on Atkins since August 2003 when I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance/PCOS. Last summer I had gotten down to 159! Then I hit a major Plateau and ended up with a Hysterectomy in October of 2004. That hysterectomy has put me on a major rollercoaster ride with the commitment. But I am back at it again!
I just restarted induction and have been looking for a place to post for support. The place I used to post has become a board of excuses and I dont want to go there anymore, I only have 43 pounds to go and it is coming off!
I am looking forward to sharing with you all.

ha. We have a lot of hard core members who believe in "by the book" here so you will always find someone to give you a good swift kick if you want and need one. There is also a lot of compasion, understanding, and good advice.
