I did Atkins years ago, and had some success. Unfortunately (as usual) I fell off the wagon, and never returned. I did go to some other diets (weight watchers, even nutrisystem) but only to fail with those too eventually. Don't get me wrong, I did lose weight, I just gained it all back plus more at some point.
I was inspired to come back to Atkins because I just recently moved back to Georgia from California. I hadn't seen my uncle in a good while and he looked WAYYY different. He had lost over 50 lbs and looked great. I asked him what he was doing and he told me "low carb diet."
So here I am again. Today is my first day OUT of induction, and I lost 15 lbs in my first 2 weeks! But I have a lot more to lose. I'm 23 (almost 24), male, and I started and 385. I weighed this morning at 370.
I'm still trying to figure out if I should do "extended induction" since I have so much to lose or start OWL. Any suggestions?
