    Hello...I'm new

    Hello,

I'm a 35 year of mum of 2. Atkins has always, always been really effective for me because I have an insatiable appetite. I just can't do low-cal diets, I'm starving ALL the time. Maybe its something to do with my hypothyroidism condition but I tend to blame that for everything lol

So here I am again, I haven't got a huge amount to lose because I've been (attempting) to keep low-carb but its been creeping up. I'm aiming for 14-16 lbs in total, The first 6 lbs have gone already (yay) week one and am busy working on the rest.

Having said that I AM having a slight problem....Maybe TMI for some peeps but I have the most hideous, alarming, very short notice type diarrhoea ? Has anybody else experienced this? or is it just me??

    Thanks

    C

Weclome to the board, C! And congrats on your loss so far!

Your problem may be due to your change in diet, especially if you're now eating a lot of broccoli and cauliflower. Your body sometimes needs time to adjust. Or maybe you are catching a cold. I hope you're over it soon, whatever it is! Good luck to you!

Or, did you by any chance eat any sugar free candies? They do a number on a lot of folks!

        Re: Hello...I'm new

When I first started I had a week of fun in the bathroom....it stopped as soon as my body got use to the things I was eating and the foods I was eating. But if it continues I'd call the doctor!

        Good luck to you.
