Hi. I just registered but have been on the plan for just over a week. I've tried everything since gaining this menopausal weight and this is the first thing that's worked. I'm finally below the plateau I always hit and bounce up from. That's great news.

Re: Introduction
Wonderful Meera. I totally understand how hard it is to lose weight at our stage of life. Seems like I have to claw my way to every single pound. But it sounds to me like you are moving along very well. If you have less than 20 to lose, I suggest moving on to OWL after Induction so you can continue to lose while also learning how to maintain that loss!

Re: Introduction
There are plenty of us who are in the same boat as you and we are loosing...slowly but steadily. I agree with Jill about moving on to OWL as soon as you get out of induction. You are really lucky not to have too much weight to loose but remember it will take longer because of that very fact. It's not impossible just remember you didn't put it on in a day so it won't come off quickly either.
Good luck to you.Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: Introduction
Yes, I'm Indian. Thank you for noting that. I realize when you have so little to lose it's sometimes harder. At my weight, it takes a long time to burn calories from working out and it seems to come off slowly. I don't really mind how slowly as long as it's moving in the right direction, which so far, it is.
I had ribs and salad tonight. Yummy.
Can you have more than one Atkins bar per day if it's one that says "all phases"?
