Hi, my name is David and this is my first time visiting the board. This is my 2nd visit to the Atkins Nutritional Approach. I will be brief with my relevant stats:
phase - extended induction - started 16 days ago
start weight - 211
current weight - 201
goal weight - 165
issues:
1) low energy and very stiff body - I made it thru a tough but short induction flu, cravings gone and I am enjoying the induction phase. I am having a tough time with exercise, though. When I walk up stairs, I feel stiff and my legs are very sore and heavy like I just road 40+ miles on a bike. My legs feel like they do after glycogen depleting runs or rides. QUESTION - is this the result of a slow transition to getting energy from body fat? I read somewhere
Thank you all, and I look forward to corresponding
