  • 3rd time is the charm?

Not new to atkins by any means, I've stopped and started many times, but due to my weak will power only had success twice. The first time was right after high school and i easily went from 220 (my highest weight ever) down to 165, and maintained it thru my first 2 years of college, IMAGINE THAT, with all the pizza and beer around me i survived, so i know i have the will power i just have to find it again, The second 2 years i lost focus ended a bad relationship and stopped caring, so by the time i graduated I was up to 190, i quickly bounced back and made it down to 170 and couldn't seem to lose anymore, shortly there after I moved across the country away from all my family and friends, had a good job and love CA but the lonliness and depression caught up to me, so here I find myself back at 200, I'll be making another move back across the country at the beginning of September to go back to school and get a graduate degree, so i want to start now while i'm still calm, I have 3 months to get my butt back into gear so that if school starts to stress me, I won't have the urge to run to the nearest hershey bar. Wish me luck, I'll be visiting often, I've already read some of the threads and I'm super inspired now!!!

      Welcome to the board, Katrina!

The nicest thing about Atkins is that once you get the carbs out of your system, you feel so good that it doesn't take much willpower to stick with it! Good luck!
