  • I'm new

    Hello Everyone! I'm new. This is my second time around on atkins. I did it a few years ago and had excellent results. Unfortunately I went back to some terrible eating habits You know, doritos and little debbies. Anyway, I gained the weight back. I'm ready to get my body back and feel better! Today starts my first day of induction. I'm starting at 179.8lbs. Wish me well!!!!

    good luck -- we follow the 2002 Drr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) edition if you don't have a copy you should get one so you understand the plan and can make choices for a long time commitment instead of until the doritos and little debbies get in the way again...lol

    Drink 64 ounces of pure water daily (nothing added) - exercise starting today -- it's not an option, it's mandatory! Check these lnks for extra help. Good luck

        Thanks Imagood1. I have the book and I'm sure I'll be referring to it quite often. Thanks for the links! I agree, the first time around I exercised a minimum of 45min/daily and the results were amazing. Thanks for your good advice!

            Hi there welcome on board.Take advantage of your induction phase as the is the time you will lose the most follow the rules and do a clean induction hopefully you will be smiling throughout.All the best with weightloss.

              Thanks guys! 2 days down, 12 to go. I'm doing well, no cheats, lots of water, but today I am weak, the energy levels are in the negative. :-( I'll keep pushin though.

                awww, this is part of Atkins...no energy, weakness...it's called the "Atkins Flu" and is how you know you're going into Keotsis so congrats - that's what you want!! It won't last forever, only a few days then you'll feel wonderful and full of energy.


                Congrats on your 2 days with no cheats & lots of water....keep it up!
