  • Hi, I'm new.

Hi, I'm new. No time to talk. Need to get ideas about how to lose the pounds. I've tried this before. It's even hard on this diet.

    Thx

      Re: Hi, I'm new.

I have the book. I'm experiencing some metabolic resistance. Plus, I hurt my back in February and have been in Physical therapy since. Can't do much exercise. Today my Dr. said he wants me to get in the pool. He calls it "water walking". It's easier on the arthritis and the back. He agreed to drop the diuretic high blood pressure pill in favor of a low salt diet. So now I have to watch carbs and salt. I've been low carb off and on for years. I'm determined to do it right this time.

      Thx for concern,
      TinaGood night everyone.

Definitely get in the pool and work at it regularly. My aunt could barely walk across a room before she started water therapy do to some severe back problems. It wasn't fun for her but she is a thousand times better now that she has been doing the therapy in the pool. As you get stronger you will feel better, more confident to do other things.
