    Hello!
Well I lost 50 lbs so far on atkins (took me about a year on and off)
have been off it for about 6 months (haven't gained anything back luckily)
I turned 30 in december and that really took a toll on me...
but i'm here to finish my weight loss
Starting weight as of last year 230
    Finish weight 180

So, my current weight is 180
    My goal weight is 145
    I'm 6'0" tall female

I don't know how long this will take me but i know I need support and would love to give support to all of you as well!
So, I believe it's 35 lbs more that I have to lose.....i hit a personal goal the day my husband graduated from his MA degree last month, I fit into a size 10 from JCrew and i about flipped! probably from all the running i can do now because of atkins! haven't done that since high school- and it's weird how your body changes through the years....
Anyway, wish me luck and please help!!!!!
35 more pounds to go and i will be done!
    Thanks everyone!

make sure you go through induction then up the rungs so you can get to pre-maintenance by the time your weight loss is almost complete. Good luck on the last bit!

Here are some recipe sites to help keep your meals delicious.

www.fitday.com get a free membership and track your daily food intake. Track NET CARBS daily … and also use the journal, for your daily moods, etc….it’s a great tool to help you.

Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water each day, including:
      Filtered water
      Mineral water
      Spring water
      Tap water

Crystal Lite, sugar free drinks of any kind are not acceptable – PURE water is the only thing that count toward your daily water intake.

After your 64 ounces you can have the following:
Clear broth/bouillon (not all brands; read the label)
      Club soda
Cream, heavy or light (limit to two to three Tablespoons a day; note carb content)
      Decaffeinated coffee or tea*
Diet soda made with sucralose (Splenda); be sure to count the carbs (causes weight stall in many people)
Essence-flavored seltzer (must say "no calories" and should not contain aspartame)
Herb tea (without barley or any fruit sugar added)
Lemon juice or lime juice (note that each contains 2.8 grams carbohydrate per ounce); limit to two to three Tablespoons
*Excessive caffeine may cause unstable blood sugar and should be avoided by those who suspect they are caffeine dependent. Everyone should try to avoid caffeine.
Grain beverages (coffee substitutes) are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted during Induction; those low in carbohydrates are an option, in moderation, in later phases

That's absolutely great that you stayed at the same weight!!!!!
I think I've probably lost over 400 lbs.(20 lbs off/21 lbs on) with all the take it off and put it on I've done over the past 30 years.
Now your well on your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm on my third day of induction, haven't watched what I eat in too many years, but got to start somewhere.
