    Hello my name is Cheryl. I am new to this board. I have lost 6 pounds so far on the atkins diet. I am still on induction. I hope to lose 3 pounds a week on this diet. So far I am losing consistantly. I hope it doesn't slow down too much. 3 pounds a week would be heaven on earth.

    good luck to you. post often and ask questions - that's the best thing you can do. Check the challenges starting tomorrow, you may be interested in a few of them.

      Hi Cheryl, you will continue to lose but most of us do see the weight loss slow down after Induction so don't be surprised if that happens. Exercise helps keep it coming off as does drinking lots of water. Sounds like you are an easy loser so far so that's good. Don't be afraid to move up the rungs. What you learn in OWL will be the lessons that make it a permanent loss for you.
