  • I'm new to the site...

    Hi,

    I have completed my 2-week inducation perios. Things went pretty well, although I did experience some "flu" symptoms. I lost 9 lbs in the first 2 weeks, but I seem to have stopped losing in week 3. I hope the scale will start moving again in the next day or two.

    Don't weigh yourself every day. It's going to take quite a long time to lose the weight. The only quick fat loss is, unfortunately, liposuction.

      It is common for people to have a bit of a 'stall' after induction. Search for 'PISS' (Post-Induction Stall Syndrome) for more information on this.

      Keep it up & it will pass!

          Sounds like PISS to me....many of us experience a short period of time after induction where you don't loose anything. I would suggest moving on to OWL and add an additional 5 net carbs of veggies. I can tell you from experience it helped me and has helped so many other people.

              Hi Sheraleigh. The secret is to be stubborn and stick to this way of eating through this mini stall. You will start losing again even though it may take a week or so.

                Hi and welcome, Sherry!

                Congrats on your 9 lb. loss; that's a great start! Don't let this little stall keep you from enjoying what you have accomplished so far because it is just your body adjusting to your new way of eating. Come to the board often, read others success stories and realize that this is the best lifestyle in the world.

                  Thanks so much for your replies!! I feel much better knowing that my not losing in week 3 is fairly common. I stop stepping on the scale daily and try to step up my exercise and water intake (neither of which I'm too good at!)
