Hi all - it's been a while since I was last here, my mother worried about this woe so much that she stopped me from doing Atkins when i started last year. However, now I'm 17, I've decided to really take matters into my own hands and, well, here I am!
I want to join the Royal Navy, but when I joined a gym two ish months ago, I found to my horror that I weighed in at about 206 pounds. Not good for a 5' 6" 17 year old girl, muscle or no! Last Wednesday [24/06/09], I decided to go for it, and start my Atkins journey again. I had dropped a few pounds through exercising, but not enough, so I started Atkins at officially 204 pounds, wanting to get down to 154 to give me the healthy BMI I need for the Navy, my health, and my general happiness.
So far I've dropped 10 pounds, and already lost about an inch off my waist and hips. I'm excited to uncover the new me, and be a healthy weight, fit and happy - which I haven't been since I was about 5. I look forward to keeping you all updated on my progress
