hi there, new in today, started atkins this week, yep bring it on, fridge loaded with gooodies...meat and veg ..eggs, im ready to go, no more wine and cheese and crakers, its all about me...lol, sick of my big fat butt..my babys just turned one, and really its all about him, gotta keep up with the little guy..
I love atkins, I lost 30 kg 5 years ago, and went from 113 kgs to 83kg and kept it off, but having a baby later in life, and siting at home enjoying the bad evil yummies i weighed in at a whooping 127kgs, ive put on 43kgs...
So here i am, and here are all of you, awsome...im so excited, im gonna have my medium sized butt back

    Welcome to the board, Misty!

It's sounds like you have it all planned out and that's the best way to get started! I assume you have read the book?

Keeping up with a one year old keeps you busy! I know because I have 14 month old granddaughter and she's always on the run. It's good exercise and even better motivation to stay on plan. And teaching them good eating habits is the best gift we can give them!

    Good luck to you!

Medium sized bum back. I liked that. It is such a great goal.
Welcome to the forum misty. Sounds like you are ready. Meat, vegs and eggs are what it is all about (and some fish maybe too)

Hi Misty and welcome back -- Here is a little information I hope will refresh your memory and help get you going again. Stay away from the shakes and bars (they are NOT legal on induction) - eat a variety of foods, get your fats, carbs and protein in daily, drink plenty of pure water (nothing added), take your supplements and exercise. Check the STAC for additional support Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. We also have challenges for members to join, some are exercise related and some aren’t. Also start a journal and post your thoughts along the way. Good luck on your "medium size butt" goal!!

Check the stickies (information posts) at the top of this page – it’s an easy way to answer questions you may have. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-diet-14-day-induction/

Check the recipe sites also - they are very helpful and will help make your meals so much more enjoyable.
