  • Anyone 5'3 out there who has about 40 lbs to lose?

Hi! I was just wondering if there is anyone out there with about the same stats to lose as I. About 40lbs would like to drop the weight by November/Decemeber... I want to consistantly lose weekly. THis doesn't mean I want to lose 5lbs/week... a lb or 2 would be fabulous!?! I've lost about 10 so far ... on my 10th day tomorrow!! I just don't want to hit any plateaus... So what's a loose induction post induction all about? If you were (are) in the same boat as me please message me and shed some of your success with me!! How you moved on from Induction, favorite foods, what worked for you and what didn't!

    Thanks!

Weight loss is not linear. You will hit plateaus, we all do. I suggest you go to Fitday and start a weight loss graph. Put in that you want to lose 2 pounds a week-you will probably lose more initially but then there will times when you do not lose that much. As long as you stay steady you will eventually reach your goal. Good luck.

      That is a good plan
But unfortunately our body seem to have a mind of its own. And it does what it does. There are so many factors.
What you can do is to stay positive and keep to the plan.
I am 5'2 and I started about the same weight as you. So I know it is possible to lose it.

I had 40 lbs to lose when I started too and I lost 38 of them but can't seem to get rid of the rest. But I'm happy where I'm at and have maintained it for 9 months now. Keeping it off is as important as losing it to begin with, so I think I'm doing a pretty good job of it. Don't become fixated on a number, instead go by how you look and feel. You can do it!

I'm just a little less than you but I know how you feel. Think more about inches than pounds. You'll get the pounds off too but sometimes the tape measure tells more than the scale. don't play war with the scale (like I do!)

Hang in there. You can do it! This site is a great help too!

A loose induction is when people fail to follow Induction rules by the book. Some people can do this and still lose, others find they haven't quite given their bodies the jolt it needs by not staying clean. A Post Induction stall is something we have no control over--some folks' bodies seem to need time to reorganize and during the first couple of weeks after Induction the scale does not move no matter what we do. The positive side is that if you just stay true and put the scale away, you usually get a whoosh a couple weeks later, meaning you will drop 4-5 pounds all at once when you body decides it is time to move forward. That's why the measurements are as important as the scale because you can often still see physical progress even if the scale says the same.

              GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND

It's not about the results. Its about the process.
