    Hi,

I've been a member of this board since 2003, but have not been posting at all these last years.
In fact, before I was never able to stick to this WOL, let's just say sugar and I were the best of friends
I always managed to keep my weight low, just not low enough. I have a very slim build and every pound shows.
Three years ago I had to go in for surgery and that's when it all went wrong, I couldn't excercise for almost a year and started eating out of plain boredom. Changing jobs didn't help either and I ended up at over 200lbs.
I tried everything, but either it was too complicated to follow (I work at the 911 emergency central (Belgian equivalent) and work very odd hours) as I just don't have the time to shop and cook all day long, or just lef tme hungry constantly.
But last week I was looking for something to read and found Dr.Atkins' book on my shelf and started reading it again.
I basically started induction last Thursday and this time it was a breeze. I haven't felt the need to cheat at all and am still going strong.
Anayway, that's how I ended up here again I loved this board before and hope it will be a big help and inspiration in reaching my own goals.

    Have a nice Atkins day!!!

Welcome back! Glad to hear you are off to a good start. I find the forums here to be very motivating. This is my second time at Atkins too (first time was also in 2003).
Look forward to hearing from you more. Good luck and keep up the good work.
