  • Hi everyone!

    Wow! I've been reading the posts for a couple of days now, and I'm so impressed with how supportive and encouraging you all are to new people.

    I first began the "old" Atkins back in 1997 and I lost the 20 lbs that I had struggled with for 2 years. I kept the weight off all this time, despite pregnancies and hardships. Every once in a while, my weight will start to creep up. I NEVER let it get past 5 lbs!! I cut carbs right away and the weight comes off.

    I just wanted to say how much I admire the courage you all have shown, and keep up the amazing work!

    Are you back to loose 5 pounds or are you just coming to join in with us (or both!!)? Glad you said hi and have been so successful loosing and keeping your weight off!!

    We have a lot of great people here willing to help with anything you may need -- again, thanks for saying hi!!

      Onederland - Met December 23rd, 2009
      180 - High School grad weight - Met May 5, 2010
      163 - No longer obese______
      136 - No longer overweight (yes, I know this is lower than my goal weight)
