  • Hi, I'm Sunnys

    Hi I'm Sunnys,

I am married and have two young boys, I work 4 days in ICT and live in The Netherlands.

I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy and hope now to lose it with eating lowcarb.

    I lost in three months time about 10 kilo's / 22 lbs.

I came from 216 lbs to 193.6 lbs now.

My goal is 165 lbs (I'm 1.74 cm / 5.7 ft and 35 years of age).

I found only small forums on Atkins diet in Netherlands, so I'm happy with this large one

All lots of success to go to the size you would want to go!

              Re: Hi, I'm Sunnys

              Hi and welcome!!

Make a copy of this list: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html and take it with you when you go to the store. If a food isn’t listed on the acceptable food list don’t eat it. Make sure you don’t just look at the “carb” number look at the ingredients list of everything and check the ingredients against your list. Just because it says "low carb" doesn't mean you can eat it. Also check for hidden sugars (learn the names used in place of the word “sugar”). We count "net carbs" (carb minus fiber = net carbs) – you can keep track of your daily food on FitDay or another program.

The recipe sites are helpful for meal planning – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.
