  • Greetings!

    Hi Everyone,

I'm a board newbie, my name is Brad. This is "sort of" my second time around with Atkins. I say sort of because my original jaunt into low carb was kind of doing my own thing based off Atkins. Suffice to say, I lost a bunch of weight and gained it all back. I believe this is because I thought about most of my eating changes as a temporary "diet".

I've decided not to beat around the bush with it and commit fully to changing my eating habits for the rest of my life. So I'm doing Atkins exactly the way it's described in the book.

I'm on day three of induction. Day two was pretty awful; I had never experienced "induction flu". I managed to pull it together though and day three was much less painful...let hope it's only up from here!! That's where I am in a nutshell.

I look forward to keeping up with the rest of you and sharing stories, experiences, and lots of success!

Welcome Brad! You are at the worst part of Induction. I promise it will get much much better. Good for you for committing to a full on lifestyle change!
