    hey everyone,

    its day 3 of induction and I feel really tired and last night I felt dizzy! I couldnt resist going on the scales yesterday night before bed and Ive lost three pounds

    Im drinking so much water I feel I could burst ha ha!

    hey i am having the same problems. i have never been back and forth to the bathroom so many times in my life! i havent been dizzy yet but i am tired today! ive lost 4 lbs so far! yay!

      Sorry to hear that you are tired, and dizzy, but congrats on making this change in your life. I was a bit like that in the beginning as well, and I found many tips in the book. Including taking my vitamin supplements which seemed to get me on track. Anyway, just wanted to share what helped me. Hope to hear about your future success!!! Good Luck!

        Congratulations on your loss.....it's best to stay off the scales since your weight may fluctuate from hour to hour during the day and also from day to day. It's best to wait until at least the end of the first week (hard I know but worth it). Just don't get addicted to stepping on the scales!!

            Cheer up all, the Induction flu will pass soon and you will be feeling much more energetic. The good news is that you are definitely detoxing! But I remember when the doc told me that being nauseous when pregnant was a GOOD thing--no matter what he said, it never felt that good! Hopefully your are feeling better today.

              Thanks everyone, Im not feeling dizzy today thankfully! I am really tierd and its only 16.30!!! lets hope its ketosis, im just after having a lovely sirlion steak with a slice of fried onion and one mushroom (BLISS)!!!

              I just need to say thanks again to everyone for their amazing support, you guys are great and I hope we can all be slim one day xxxxx

                I have a question lol

                Can someone please tell me i Im taking in enough carbs?

                today

                Breakfast:
                2 slces of bacon
                2 eggs

                lunch:
                tuna in sunflower oil (trace carb) with mayo
                cup of leafy salad and half a tomato

                Dinner:
                Steak with fried onion and one mushroom

                Ive been reading the forum today and people are saying that its dangerous to eat too much protein and to make sure we get our 20grams of carbs. Do you think Im having enough carbs in the above menu? Ive drank 2 and a half litres of water today too! and ive used a ketostick which suggests Im in ketosis, I already had a feeling I was

                  You do not need to aim for 20 carbs/day-it is a MAXIMUM. 3 cups of veggies per day is the rule - you are short on those Also, 1/2 of your daily carbs should come from veggies

                      2 cups of salad veggies such as cucumbers, various greens, radish, spinach, etc
                      and one cup of other non-starchy veggies such as green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, asparagus, zucchini or yellow summer squash

                      stay away from carrots, corn, peas, yams, winter squash

                        I have the book, but Im struggling to understand some of it! Im not the sharpest tool in the box lol thank you! I had some lovely veg today YUM!

                          There should be a section that clearly outlines the veggies allowed during induction.
