Hi my name is Kimberly and I recently started Atkins 6 days ago I love the concept of the diet but giving up coffee is a hard thing for me I recently saw my sister-in-law and she really inspired me because she had lost 65 pounds on Atkins I rushed out the next day to buy the book and find out more about the diet so she has really motivated me to try this diet so 6 days in I have lost 5 pounds since starting Atkins I hope to continue Atkins as a lifestyle change for me.

I hope you’ve read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR), it’s the book we follow on this bulletin board.
Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. Check all around the board for everything there is to, there is a challenge section with both exercise and non exercise challenges, Rate My Menu for help with your food, journaling – there is something for everyone
The recipe sites are helpful for meal planning – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.

Giving up coffee was something I wasn't willing to do.As far as I can tell it has had to adverse effects.Maybe i am different,but caffiene hasn't been an issue for me.Comment
