Hi all

This is Tania from Greece,26 years old. I've been registered at ADBB for a long long time but it wasn't until yesterday that I decided to start Atkins.

I am approx 65 kilos and hope I will lose 10-12 kilos until Christmas. (My height is 1.63m... sorry for the metrics, I cant convert them to lbs or feet)

Your stories are very inspiring and I am very "jealous" of all of you who DID IT.

Welcome Tania. You live in a great place for low carbing. The seafood, fish and salads are all wonderful and Greece has great cheeses so I am actually a wee bit jealous of you! Glad you found us. Your goal is very reachable. Do check out our recipe threads. There are low carb versions of several classics like moussaka. Post often and don't be afraid to ask for help. That's why we are here.

Welcome to the Atkins Board.


Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. If you haven't already, read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR).

Eat the foods on the acceptable food list and find delicious recipes here: just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.

Hi Tania and welcome aboard! Nice to have you here with us.
You don't have too much to lose so I'm sure things will go smoothly for you, as long as you follow the plan to the letter.
Remember, the less you have to lose, the slower the loss (which is so irritating!)... particularly those last few pounds (or kilos). Just be patient and you'll see the results.
