Hi - this is my second time. I lost 2 stone about five years ago. But this time can't seem to get going. Have been on induction for more than four weeks now. Initially lost a couple of pounds and turned the stix pink, but now not losing anything and ketosis not registering in spite of sticking to the induction rules. Not doing anything different to last time, so would welcome any advice.

a typical day would be - Breakfast - 2/3 eggs, some chesse, ham or bacon. or an Atkins breakfast bar. Lunch - few macadamia nuts and piece of cheese. Dinner - meat (usually chicken) with small amount of salad or veg. Snacks - protein drink (sometimes with cream added) 1/2 an atkins snack bar, a few nuts. A couple of times a week 1/2 a cup of berries with cream. To drink - 1 coffee in morning, rest of time peppermint tea, water or very weak sugar free squash. The odd de-caf coffee or lemon tea.

You are not doing Atkins induction. Way too many items in there that are not induction friendly. And some foods that we call frankenfoods (processed replacement foods) that often give people trouble.
Check the book for the rules of induction and follow them to a T.

Like Liv said you aren't doing induction the way it was written - the bars aren't allowed on induction -- neither are any type of nut (that is rung 3) -- or berries. I don't know where you got your information but you really need to read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR), it’s the book we follow on this bulletin board.
Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin.
The recipe sites are helpful for meal planning – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.
