I started last week and have been reading the book, and then I found out about this site. I think this will be very helpful.

Welcome to the Atkins Board.
Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. I'm glad you are reading the book (hopefully it's the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution [DANDR]).
Eat the foods on the acceptable food list and find delicious recipes here: just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.

It's very helpful to understand the science behind the diet.
Make sure you exercise, drink masses of water and take an iron free supplement.
