Hello,

I am new here. I came accross this site hoping to find other atkins people! Yay so happy I found it! I am from Toronto. Last year I gave birth to a baby boy at 24 weeks. He was in the hospital for 4 months as he was very very sick, he only weighed 790 grams and had/has chronic issues. Needless to say all the stress from the last year and a half has caused me to neglect myself and overeat and of course I packed on the pounds. I would ideally like to lose 40 lbs. I cant wait to get to know everyone!

Congrats on your baby boy! They are a treasure and I dont know what I would do without my kids now... my lil man just turned 4 over the weekend!

I can relate on the packing.. but.. nw its onto losing!
You can do this!

Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. If you haven't already, read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR).

Eat the foods on the acceptable food list and find delicious recipes here: just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.
