    Hi.
    I am new here. Today is my first day on Atkins. I need all the help you can give me.


    I have lost 22 lbs.

    Mini goals:
    Starting weight 241- 09/23/09
    229- met on 10/26/09
    225- met on 11/10/09
    - no longer morbidly obese
    212- ===
    199-ONE-DERLAND
    187
    178
    169 no longer obese
    160
    150
    140

    Doin Miles, Flights, & Kid Ketchin'...
    2 Ab Chal's; 6WEC#27 slug-Free; & more; 50# LOST in'06-
    but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

    .................OMG how did I fail AGAIN

    Sigh ... I'll be back... life isn't always fair 10-07-09

        We are here for support. Just ask question and share your journey with us.
        My best advice for now would be to follow the rules strictly. It works when you work it. Good luck

          Welcome to the Atkins Board.

          I agree with Liv -- follow the plan the way it's written and you'll have much success...hopefully you'll get the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution book and read it so you understand why the plan works and the science to back up those claims.

          Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin.

          Eat only the foods in the amounts listed on the acceptable food list

Vary your meals so you don't get tired of eating the same thing over and over -- we have too many choices for that to happen.

                day 2 towards a happier/healthier you - how cool is that ?! I have never stayed with anything this long [8 months for me] - little blips along the way, but in the end, I'm still loving this WOE and this site helps to keep me motivated. Just keep chatting, hope you are doing well!
