Hello all. I am a 27yr Male, and after many times of going on diets and stoping I have found many reasons to finally get serious. My doctor a while ago recommended Atkins so I decided it is time I follow his advice and not only start but join a group for any help I will def need. I am starting tommorow and plan to also work out while on this diet. My goal is 100lbs in 10 months. I think I can do it. So looking forward to posting some results and talking to you all.

Welcome to the Atkins Board.
I wish you well with your goal -- if you don't make it you should be extremely close. No one can predict if you can loose X pounds worth of weight in X months but follow the plan the way it's written and you should do well.
Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. If you haven't already, read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR).
Eat the foods on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html and find wonderful recipes here: just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with. Vary your meals so you don't get tired of eating the same thing over and over -- we have too many choices for that to happen.
