  • Old Atkineer - Hello!

Hi, I'm Deniece; 21, turning 22 shortly. I used to be a strict atkins follower in 2003-2005 and have always kind of kept to it until I began working out hardcore and needed to consume those "evil" starches and protein for the strenuous activity I do. At 5'4" 107lbs, I have no need to I guess, but noneoftheless want to stay healthy. Well, I joined this board again to be surrounded by motivated "losers" and to gain more information for my mom who is trying to do this way of living again.

I'm glad to see this board is still running after all of these years and good luck to everyone following Atkins

Welcome back. You are so right about feeling healthier n Atkins than off and I work out regularly and never found the "need" for starches.

          Welcome back -

I hope your mom has a computer and you've given here the website link so we can join also. If not, show her when she's around and let her see what the plan is all about. Hopefully she has the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book and you have both read it.

Congrats on your loss and the fact you've been able to maintain.

Good luck to both of you.
          Carole
