Hello Atkins Community!

My name is Eve and I am 23 years old. I'm currently 334 lbs and stand at 6'3, with a 41.7 BMI. I found this community through a user on you tube and after reading the New Diet Revolution and reading the posts made in this forum I've committed myself to embark on the journey to wellness. I hope that I will be able to offer others the same support, encouragement & inspiration that the many of you give through your posts & I hope that through this journey I'll meet all of the people who make this forum a great source of support.

Welcome and good luck to you in the journey ahead. It is a great one. I hope you have the book Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution... that is what we base this forum on. It is a good book and good foundation to build on. I hope soon you'll be feeling the benefits and good effects of clearing your body of sugar and white flour/rice etc...

It's great you have already read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution - that sets you ahead of the pack when it comes to starting with every advantage! Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin.

Eat the foods on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.htmland find wonderful recipes here: just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.

Vary your meals so you don't get tired of eating the same thing over and over -- we have too many choices for that to happen.
