Hi... I am new here. I'm 23 year old. I am a RN and alternated working nights and days ,which has caused terrible eating habits. I am finally set on day shift. I am now hoping to get my diet in gear. I put on a lot of weight during college. I would love to get back to 107lbs. Many family members and friends have had great success with Atkins and now its my turn. I look forward to sharing with everyone.

Re: New From NJ
Welcome to the Atkins Board.
I hope you’ve read the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR), it’s the book we follow on this bulletin board. If you haven’t until you can get a copy you’ll find a condensed version at the top of the induction - (Atkins Diet Induction FAQs)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-diet-14-day-induction/77558-atkins-diet-induction-faqs.html - but nothing takes the place of the book in your hand as a reference guide.
Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise starting today and taking a multi-vitamin. Check all around the board for everything there is to, there is a challenge section with both exercise and non exercise challenges - new challenges will be starting the first of the month so you started at a great time!
Make a copy of this list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html and take it with you when you go to the store.
The recipe sites are helpful for meal planning – just make sure you use Induction Recipes to begin with.

Re: New From NJ
Hey Jersey Girl! I'm one too (when I am not in China). In true Jersey fashion, I am at 58 off the GSP. hehehe Where are you? I have been doing this for a long time (and stopping too in between) but love how I feel physically when I am on track. And my bloodwork has never been better than when I am on Atkins. Hope it works as well for you too.
