What happens in your forties ? Our metabolism goes all to crap. I'm 45 and I'm SERIOUS about taking it off !

I hope to ...no I'm going to loose 25 lbs.
I haven't weighed yet,but plan to tomorrow I have been on the induction for 1 week tomorrow.

Welcome and good for you for not weighing in yet. It can be very frustrating because the scale does tend to go up and down quite a bit for seemingly no reason at times. Be prepared for a long slow battle of the bulge. I am 48 and it comes off a lot slower now than it used to. The most frustrating part is that if you stray, the weight comes on in half the time it takes to take it back off. So best advice is concentrate on staying on plan and don't be distracted by the scale. And do exercise and drink a LOT of pure water.

You think your 40's is bad! Wait til you get into your 50's!!!

Seriously, just make up your mind that you want to do this, you need to do this and plan on following the plan exactly as it is written and DANDR 2002. I swear that if I can do this, anyone can! I was a late learner, but when I got it, I got it.

So refresh yourself on the plan. Don't take shortcuts and best wishes to you.

Mid 50's here and once I completely bought into a strict LC woe,the wt has came off fairly easily. I'm not sure age or gender are really limiting factors. I know women older than me, who have lost wt even at a faster clip than I have.Good luck.
