Im Becky, just restarting atkins after it was a huge success for me years ago. Unfortunately my life got very rocky and I had to forget about "me" for a while.

But im back on the horse, im 4 days into induction. I hope it works again as well as it did before for me.

Hi Becky and welcome. If you did Atkins a long time ago you may need some updating. This site goes by the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution. It's changed a lot from previous versions so if you don't have the book it is worth getting.

Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, if not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
