    Hello,

    I am very happy that I found this wonderful support site

    Atkins is the only diet that has ever really worked for me. I used to be a professional dieter in my early 20's J I tend to use a modified Atkins diet, with a lot of aspects from the Mediterranean diet...RED WINE! Yes I said it...and when bikini season comes I usually cycle Atkins with the Scarsdale diet. However, the past 4 years have been very tough for me personally…I let myself go somewhat. I am 5'8 and currently weight 168-170lbs/size 11-13 pants. I don't care how much I weigh, as long as I get down to a loose size 8/9 (155lbs).

    Welcome!

    This is my first try at Atkins, and the site has been a great source for information and motivation for me. With a little inspiration and a dash of motivation, you'll achieve your goal in no time.

      This site is dedicated to the 2002 Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) edition is the book. You already said you don't follow the plan the way it's written so I'll just say good luck.

        Hi Raven, Atkins will still work but as we get older it works much slower and the re-gains are much faster. So the time may have come when you need to stick to a plan permanently. Atkins is great for this because if you do the 2002 version and move through OWL you'll learn your limits as you add carbs back in and that sets you up for successful maintenance.
