I'm B-a-c-k!

Hi everyone!
I am rejoining the circle of winners! I have previously enjoyed being on the Induction phase for a total duration of about 7 months!

Started 20 months ago on February 14, 2008! Not quite a year after having brain surgery! I was supposed to be blind and dead! My treat to myself to live longer, healthier and happier, and my way of thanking God for another chance to take better care of this temple I live in! Went from a size 12/14 (on a 5'2'' small frame), down to a headturning size 2!! From 12/14 to 2/4 in about 5 months!

I had really forgotten that there was a little diva under all that fat! I had forgotten what the curves looked like and I am not a person who is stuck on herself and was thin in the past,(a size 3, 5, 7) but did not welcome the stares because I was not comfortable with the skin I was in.

Now, I appreciate everything God has given back to me, including my life!

Glad you decided to rejoin us, you won't regret it. I hope you have read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution book -- it's best to have all the information you can have for the best success. Remember, Atkins is about more than just induction - make sur you move on to OWL and move up the rungs, adding foods back to your daily meals!

Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily. Many of us use www.Fitday.com to track our food so we know what our carb totals are for the day. It's important you know what you are eating and how many carbs you are taking in each day.
