Hello everyone-

My name is Amy and I am starting back on Atkins today. I have done Atkins before and had great success, but I became so busy with college, 3 kids, and life in general that I forgot about myself. Not only have I gained back the 37 lbs I lost, I have also gained about 12 more. I can not deal with it anymore so here I am.

Some of you may know me as Amiee2006 and know me pretty well. Those who don't, you will...I'm a talker

Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, your body is different than anyone so it’s best not to compare - just follow the plan the way it's written. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
