Hi Everyone! I am new to the board and I am happy and excited to be here. Obviously I need your help to lose weight and have found the Atkins diet is something even I can do. Like most people, I have trouble sticking to a plan. At this point I am desperate. I weight more now than I ever have and I am scared.
I am quickly approaching the BIG 5-0 and when I do I want to be proud of myself! That is something I am not at this point!!! I am taking a big step in joining this forum too! That alone frightens me because I now know that I must be accountable. Is n't that weird? I want to be thin and healthy and yet I am afraid to totally commit!!

but it can be done. I strongly suggest going out and joining some challenges. There's a new one starting soon, to read the book. There are also many exercise challenges [and you can start very small] - plus water challenges, etc. This has really motivated me to get some exercise in my life and helped get me back on track.
