  • Hello one and all - back for thinning out....

Hello everyone - just saying hello from Wales.

Second Atkins stint in 7 years - maintained the weight loss and lifestyle for 4-5 years last time - complete change of life has resulted in weight gain.

Time to address this before it gets out of hand - so started induction today - positive feeling, I know this works - just need to apply myself long term like before.

A little older than last time - think my metabolism is slowing anyway - time will tell!!

Congratulations on realizing that it was time to get back to Atkins before gaining even more weight. You did it once, so you can definitely do it again. You'll do great...again.

Hi Karen and welcome! You are probably right about slowing metabolism (het to be the bearer of bad news) but the good news is that this way of eating still works, even if it takes a little longer.
