    I'm new 2 Atkins....but decided to give it a try. I'm pleased with the results so far.

    Started this diet on Sun 4/26/09

    50 lbs gone on Sun 9/27/09

    Well its been over a year now and I am currently on maintenance and still trying to adjust to the "new" ME. No major struggles to report, just livin' day to day.

          Thanks Skinny- it CAN be done, I could have done it in less time, but I really want it to be a new way of life for me, its not just about losing the weight- its about being healthy and happy, I moved up the rungs quickly to get my mind adjusted to having new foods and not giving in to old habits of overeating them...... YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!

                    Starting Waist: 33" Now 32" lost 1"
                    Starting Hips: 42" Now 40.5" lost 1.5"

                      I've lost 13 so far....its been 1 week and 1 day

                      I set a attainable exercise goal (minimum 3 days per week-30 min)
                      I've been strict (except a few candy corns)
                      For breakfast:
                      Bacon
                      Eggs /Spinach and just a sprinkle of cheese

                      That will take me to lunch (if I get hungry in between string cheese or tuna)

                      Lunch
                      I ate a whopper the other day (no bread just the burger and the cheese)
                      Spinach salad with Caesar dressing

                      Dinner
                      Chicken w/ Feta Cheese and Spinach
                      spring Mix Salad

                      The meat will sustain my hunger and I'm not snacking that much.

                        watch the cheese at burger joints -- it's not "real" -- it's better to order without the cheese - and make sure you don't eat the ketchup either -- loaded with sugar & salt. Also, you know the candy corn isn't on plan -- best to keep away from all of it from the beginning.
