    Good luck!
I don't know that it is a chocolate addiction, but I do like a little treat once in a while. With Atkins or any other diet I think each individual has to ask two questions:
    1. Is what I am doing working?
    2. Is this something I can stick with long term?

For me the answer is yes to both of these questions. From past experience, I know that having a low-carb alternative to a sugar laden treat makes sticking with the program a whole lot easier. Now if they only had low carb french fires.....sigh.

Have you started a journal? It's a great place to get your thoughts and feelings out and a great place for others to help you.
Thank you for your comments but I'm doing an extended induction which is fine for me. Once I get to OWL I'll simply follow the instructions in the book. As for keeping a journal, never have thought about it but it's something that I might be open to in the future. Thank you for the suggestion.

I too have cravings for Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Have you tried the Atkins variety? They are pretty good, especially if you freeze them first.
Thank you for the congrats. They say that the 3rd time is a charm !!! Hopefully you'll get to all of your goals this time around.

As for substituting regular Reeses with Atkins Reeses, my goal is to stay away from junk food altogether even once I am in maintenance..... food allergies.

I ate alot of carbs during Thanksgiving and missed several workouts. Today I am getting back on Induction at least for 3 weeks before going into OWL.

So that loud thud I heard was you falling off the wagon eh? Thanksgiving is a tough weekend to stay low-carb. I managed to stay on track but gained 3 lbs anyway. Talk about discouraging. Good luck on your re-induction.

LOL...yes it was me going to town on the Cherry Cheese pie and yams. I'm refocused now though and am going to switch up my workouts to running/walking until I build back up to 5 miles a day. That always blasted off the lbs.

You gained 3 lbs while on low carb ? Did you eat too much ? That can take you out of ketosis too.

Ohhhh you had cherry cheese pie? That's gotta be one of my favorites! My Thanksgiving dinner consisted of turkey, green beans, and salad. Pretty boring huh?

I did stay low carb as far as I know. I say that, because I was obligated to go to a wedding luncheon and although in theory what I had was low carb, I can't be 100% sure because I didn't make it myself. I suspect there where probably some hidden carbs.

I still was able to lose 3 lbs last week so I guess I shouldn't complain. My "official" weigh in day is Monday mornings so I'll just have to see how this week goes.

I did have people who haven't seen me in the last 4 months ask me if I had lost weight, so I guess it is noticeable. I just tell them I'm working on getting down to fighting weight as that sounds far more manly than saying I'm trying to to fit into my skinny jeans.
