  • Newbie ,..4 days into induction -6 lbs lost

I must say I'm ecstatic about the results I'm getting ,..but I still have hunger pains 4 days into induction ,..shouldn't they be gone by now ?

Hunger pains? or feeling hungry? Because you shouldn't feel starved during induction. However if you have cramps or something then that's different.

Not cramps ,..just feeling hungry after I've already eaten ,..or not really feeling satisfied . I can't explain exactly , butI think my stomach is so used to be "stuffed" with carbs it's just in "shock"

Yeah it might be what some call a "carb craving". Always eat until you're full, eat lots of veggies (they fill you up), and remember to drink 6-8 glasses of water every day. I have a habit of drinking one full glass right after a meal, it gives me great satisfaction as well as quench my thirst.

Not necessarily. But you might want to post a menu with what you eat for every meal so that we can take a look. Don't forget to include quantities and net carbs for every food.

I agree with Georgiana. You shouldn't be having cravings after a meal.

You should not be hungry. Cook some chicken or ribs up (or your favorite meat) up and keep a plate in the fridge. When you feel hunger, eat a bite or two and wait a while. If you are still hungry, have some more. Dr. Atkins said this is what he did.
