  • New Here

Hi! I am new here but have been a lurker. I am planning on starting Atkins. My weight has gotten to an all time high and it is time to get it off. I have done Atkins before but it was an half hearted attempt. I know that it works. I was most recently on a diet called Fat Loss 4 Idiots, which is some what low carb as well. The selection on that diet is so limited so it was extremely hard to stick with even though it did work. I think Atkins will be a better fit for me because their are more options and I love the fact that if I am really craving a hamburger, I can still have it only making the bun out of a revolution roll.

      Hi Shannon
Glad you decided to come out of lurkdom. We need to be here and support each other. Makes us all stronger.
Revolution roll - is a secret to a good low carb life I think.
The thing I love about Atkins too is that if I want to eat I can. I need to know that to keep sane
(That knowledge actually very often prevents me from eating - because if I feel I cannot eat I get food obsessed - that is how I am wired I am afraid)
      Hope to see around more.
