Hello, I'm new to Atkins everything. I was one of the skeptics back ten years ago when the book first came out. Now with a change of heart since I've seen the results my mother has had; who started this new WOL over three weeks ago.

I'm on my third day of Induction and feeling okay. I know once my body is rid of all the 'bad stuff' I'll start to feel better, mild headache for two days now. Looking back into my life, I realize now how much damage I've caused to my body. Reading the book has opened my eyes to the truth.....

I'm hoping to meet great people here and get a little more involved in the forum topics.

    Looking forward to it too!

      Re: Atkins Newbie

Hello Loving, you are right you should be feeling better tomorrow. Make sure you are drinking a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of water. You should shoot for 100 ounces. Headaches are often a sign of dehydration. The Induction flu does take a toll but it passes quickly and then most folks feel great. If you are still tired it may mean you aren't eating enough food or (specifically) aren't eating enough fat.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Your headache isn't from caffeine withdrawals is it? Those can last for days. Hoping it goes away and you begin feeling better!
