hey lyns! I also 'hovered' for months before actually posting and getting involved. Since then, I've lost 10 pounds and just found out this morning that I've lost 5 more inches [this month alone] - how cool is that. I highly suggest joining in the challenges - start small, be patient and enjoy the thrill of success! Good luck!

        Hi Lyns,
Welcome!!! You can stick it out. Just put your goals in front of you and let nothing hold you back.

Congratulations on your little one! My 'little' one is 14 months. That baby weight is really a protection during your pregnancy against starvation. I'm still working on my baby weight but I'm confident it will come off by following Atkins, yours will too!

I love the support here, it is amazing.

        Keep going!

Hi and welcome back to Atkins Lins--

I wondered where you had been!!! Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, your body is different than anyone so it’s best not to compare - just follow the plan the way it's written. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support. Many of the monthly challenges are starting today but there is always time to join!

Ger your DANDR book out and re-read it. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and don't forget to take your non-iron multivitamin.

Vegetables.....make sure you're eating enough (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily. Rules of Induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?)

The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over plus there are always new recipe threads starting up.
