Hello I'm Aaron, and I've been in the induction phase for one week, as of this morning. I decided to try this lifestyle because I can't fit into my size 38 jeans anymore, and after a summer of beer guzzling and carnival food, I need to lose all this fat I've built up. I've always battled with my weight...I'm 6'2" 255 lbs, and I usually swing between where I'm at and 215-225. I'm really comfortable and fit at 215 and happy with 225, but anything above those and the pants go from 36 - 38 - 40, which is where i've always drawn the line. Giving up drinks with my buddies would be the hardest part for me so far, but I'm looking forward to a Jack and Diet Coke when I'm allowed. I felt a bit tired and woosy last week, but that has mostly subsided and now I'm far more energetic. I'm going to begin exercise after the two week induction phase is over to further kickstart my metabolism.
Finding that there are alot of food options at restaurants like steak and veggies / salads that are low enough in carbs. I've been sticking to a fairly regular sausage and eggs breakfast with burgers and salad for lunch.
If anyone has any tips, I'm all ears. Thanks for listening.
